Thalassa

Produced with Bosco, Albarola, and a small anoubt of Vermentino grapes in Costa Novale and Cà di Zanetto Inferiore. A combination of hardness and aromatic and gustatory breadth.

Vintage:

2024 (rainy year with a brief period of intense summer heat) Vineyard Costa Novale and Cà di Zanetto inferiore, Riomaggiore, Bosco Albarola grapes and a small amount of Vermentino.

Farming:

Guyot and pergola, both high and low. Partially fertilized with green manure from broad beans, partially unfertilized. Green pruning on Guyot, no irrigation.

Production:

The first batch of Bosco grapes from Costa Novale macerates for 6 days on the skins, the second from Cà di Zanetto with late harvest macerates for 2 days, all in steel. Approximately 3 months of bâtonnage on fine lees, malolactic fermentation. Unfiltered and unclarified.
